The nursing home is roughly 248,000 square feet, with four floors and seven open units.
Young Adult, Hospice, Special Care Unit (SCU) Alzheimer and Dementia, all female, mixed gender and mixed long-term care needs (multiple units), and Skilled/Rehab.
Nursing Staff: Licensed Nursing Assistants, Medication Nursing Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Nurses, Nursing Supervisors, and Unit Coordinators. We have a sponsored training program for aspiring Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNA Trainee). Positions are posted based on staffing needs.
Nursing Home Support Positions: Administration (varies on need), Facilities and Grounds, Dietary Aides, Housekeeping Aides, Laundry Aides, Recreation Aides, and Unit Aides.
We are licensed for 290 residents. We average 250 long-term residents and fluctuate for the remaining amount for skilled/rehab residents.
The hiring process varies based on the position. The process can take 4-6 weeks from the time your application is received.
- A current license is required with the Board of Nursing for all nursing staff.
- We will process a full criminal background verification.
- We will process an elder abuse verification (for all positions with direct support and/or interactions with elderly residents).
- We conduct an onsite health/drug (urinalysis)/TB screen before orientation.
- We will verify and process all professional references from the application or those requested.
- Applicants must be age 16 or older for consideration.
We are paid bi-weekly on Thursdays.
1st day of the month following 30 days from date of hire.
We are a 24/7 operation and hire on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift. Most positions require weekend and holiday availability.
Visible tattoos are allowed if they are not vulgar, offensive or gang related. Residents may be highly interested in asking and looking at your tattoos.
Piercings are allowed if they are not a safety or hazard concern.
