Registered Nurses
Earn up to $45.18/hour
Our Full-Time Registered Nurses are expected to provide direct nursing care to the residents and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the Merrimack County Nursing Home, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services and/or Unit Coordinator to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
EDUCATION: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
EXPERIENCE: Any combination of education and experience which demonstrate possession of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
CERTIFICATION: Current license as a Registered Nurse issued by the NH Board of Nursing.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS: A drug screen, and a background check will be required of all conditional hires.
Licensed Nursing Assistants
Earn up to $23.97/hour
Our Full- or Part-Time LNAs are expected to perform a wide variety of services to assist in the care of residents, their quarters, recreational and work activities. Assist residents to attain and maintain the highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well-being as determined by resident assessments and individual plan of care.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent, completion of 100 hour approved program for Nursing Assistants, and passing score on competency evaluation program approved by the NH Board of Nursing.
EXPERIENCE: No prior experience required.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Registered with N.H. Board of Nursing.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS: A drug screen, and a background check will be required of all conditional hires.
Licensed Practical Nurses
Earn up to $37.64/hour
Our Full-Time Nurses are expected to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Licensed Nursing Assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the Merrimack County Nursing Home, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or Unit Coordinator to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
EDUCATION: Completion of a four-year high school course or equivalent, and graduation from a basic educational program in practical (vocational) nursing with diploma.
EXPERIENCE: One year of experience as a staff nurse preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse issued by the NH Board of Nursing.
